Build your inclusion expertise in 2020

If you’re a diversity and inclusion corporate change agent, you probably already know the role requires a lot of juggling and influencing on multiple fronts.

Balancing strategic and operational responsibilities can be challenging, especially if you’ve got other HR or OD roles to perform. Keeping up to date with global best practices and translating these to meaningful actions for your business is often easier said than done. Influencing stakeholders who may be diversity indifferent can take a lot of patience.

To help, our team at Diversity Partners has put together a new webinar-based program for change agents in Australia and New Zealand in 2020. It includes a mix of webinars and coaching sessions.

In groups limited to ten people, you’ll have the opportunity to learn, share challenges and translate D&I best practice to tangible actions. Guest presenters will join us at times.

The program is structured around the key success factors for an effective D&I strategic program of work, drawing on global research from sources such as the Global D&I Benchmarks, Harvard Business Review, and consulting firms such as Catalyst, McKinsey & Company, Deloitte, and Bain & Company.

The program is also designed to enhance your effectiveness as an internal influencer.

We’ll draw on our own steep learning curves in corporate leadership roles within global and Australian-based organisations, as well as our consulting experiences with more than 300 organisations over the past decade since we founded Diversity Partners.

(You can read my recent LinkedIn article on some of those steep learning curves from my career – those exciting, yet often gut-wrenching, times in your career where, depending on the support you seek and expertise and mindset you bring – can be the make or break of you.)

We look forward to learning and sharing together this year in our new D&I change community. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you’d like more information.
